No, but my surgeon did say that. He had a great time in there - for 7 hours. I think he was building a ship in a bottle or something.

I can understand how that might be confusing to some of you. It's not like prices are commonly misrepresented in the titles or anything.

Is that the best you've got? Someone else's poorly written add! Try again.

A 10.8L engine for an Urban Bus.

Would be awesome in a school bus if it would fit.

So it probably has an altogether different transmission too, since that's included. That reminds me of a classroom training diesel setup.

How dare they give urban buses more power than school buses.

It could have an Allison 3000/4000 Series. They can handle the input torque.

I wish they had some interior pics of it. Lot of good stuff on that one.

It doesn't mention the generator.

Yes, odd that there are no interior pics. Looks pretty good from the outside.

I would have bid by now if it had another engine. I try to steer clear of the Cat engines in my searches. Am i making a mistake?

Cat makes the bigger engines and I've never heard a bad thing said about Cat motors. Yes, you are making mistake.
here's a You Tube video of a guy discussing the ins and outs of the 3116.

Cats aren't something to be afraid of. It's not a deal breaker is you're looking at a nice cat engine. That said, you know what an old POS engine looks like. I'm not a cat guy but a decent clean looking engine would carry a lot of weight in my book if I was in the market. Basically if you can do the mechanical work yourself, there's not a great difference other than slightly higher parts prices. Shop repairs are higher than other vehicles, but taken care of correctly they tend to last as long as a lot of other engines.

Honestly Cummins is not my favorite diesel, but it's common and easily serviced.
