Sounds like a short CE bus is what you want.

I'd pay more for a freshly retired bus than something like that.

9-10 window tc2000 fe is what ive been looking for mostly, but open to busses around that size. i need to dig through floorplans more to see what i could do with a 7-8 because ive seen quite a few of those around. leaning towards having a garage in it. and i do plan on having to do a roof raise to get the desired height

I'm chasing an 8 window TC2000 FE - so if they're too short for you, but look good, do send me the details.

They'll have about the same ground clearance. Make sure it isn't a low floor TC.

Or go for an All American. TC was the budget line of BB.

Absolutely. Would love an All American. I'm just not finding very many in the short variety. And 40ft is too much for me to handle.
There seems to be more short TC2000s (but still not that many).

My AA is about 35ft bumper to bumper.
Not much shorter, but it turns nice.

Is it front or rear engine?
The front-engined buses tend to be easier because they can have much shorter wheelbases. There is a need to watch the rear overhang in turns, but they are easier to maneuver.
Mine is 40' with a rear engine. Consequently, the wheelbase is a whopping 23 feet. I still found it fine to drive even in neighborhoods, although getting it in and out of the yard is a little tricky.

Pretty much like most of the dealers. Better than some, worse than others.

Have any idea on the price of the one you linked for example?

Here's a similar model, but I believe this is electronic.

People seem to be buying buses like they're desperate.

It's a rear engine. The cab forward design seems to make a difference. It's better than most 40ft straight trucks I have driven.

Gotta love the ill-informed American consumer.
People are desperate because its currently a trend.
