thats pre-DPF. but may very well have EGR... I know the DT-466E got it sometime around that year...
be sure no coolant leaks and the oil is clean looking.. as ECCB has encountered, there were some 466E's with defective timing covers that can cause big time coolant leaks.. and they are a pain to fix.. so I would ask very specific questions about coolant and oil use..
245 HP seems like a high spec for an IC school bus but. calling a dealer with the VIN you can get the scoop on its actual ratings and rear-gears in it as well..

05 would definitely be EGR. And 05 could very well be one with the problematic timing cover.
Just personal opinion here, but I'd not want that bus, even at that low price. If I had that bus, I'd be listing it on CL.

With MT plates it has either been worked really hard on some pretty bad roads or it hasn't had good PM done on it or a combination of both.
I would call and find out what the story is but I would be cautious. As someone who used to sell buses for Harlows I can tell you they rarely sell them that cheap.

Thank you for the info! After noticing the wheel, and realized this bus isn't being cared about, I figured i can wait for a fresh from school bus and I won't regret it

I already have a Crown but I found this Eagle bus on CL. I really want someone to buy it and show it some love

I think it'd be a fine conversion and some work has already been done

East Texas C/L rv listing has a Allison Trans for 3k, and a 8.3 for 3k. Both listed as having 96k miles, and both are "you pull" prices.
Thought they'ed be worth listing here, but can't seem to get the links to copy and paste.

Head up guys. Just saw this.

GMC bus hoods for auction. No bidders. These would be a major pain to pick up without a truck and trailer. It's only about 20 minutes up the road from me in San Antonio. I know I turned down a few GMC buses due to damaged hoods, hah.

Party bus? There was no brass pole.
It does look pretty nice, if you'd like your entire bus to be a living room.
