And claims a 14 litre diesel and an AT-545.......
The only 14 litre diesel I am familiar with is the DD series 60. Not a likely combination......

https://houston.craigslist.org/cto/d...788865108.html Anyone care to guess at the end to end length on this? Before I go look at it, just want to get an idea if it's under 40 foot.

I've always wanted to find a 40'+ bus. In the USA they are legal up to 45 feet, but they all seem to top out at 40'.
I mean, doesn't everyone want a 15 foot whale tale?

Coaches are 45 commonly. I’m guessing school busses aren’t because that extra 5 feet would make them undriveable in many neighborhoods .. they’d likely only sell a few that long.

When I was getting my bus at the Union County garage, me and my friend were in the office listening to the drivers as we waited for the speed to get unlocked and verified.
Poor driver was stuck in a neighborhood with a shorty, and none of the cars were letting her out (not sure the exact situation). She broke down crying a little and requested another driver to come help, and I felt kind of PO'd at the jerks not letting a school bus out. But yeah, with a full 45' in some of these small towns, they'd never get out of some of these places.
Anyways, as to not get off topic, I highly support the Union County, North Carolina Surplus Buses.
North Carolina School Bus Surplus System
You can sort by county, and expand the counties you are interested in. Unfortunately there is little in terms of actual sorting or data, but they do include a VIN so you can reference that for most of them to get the make, model, and engine as well as headroom on some of them.

That's not quite right. My 10 window is 34' bumper to bumper, and it's not a transit style.

interesting - to tell you the truth I haven't run my tape on any of the buses I've been looking at online - going by what the owners told me when asked, the 8 window bus was 36 feet bumper to bumper, and the 9 window was just shy of 40 feet on the dog nose buses
