Waiting on info on the double decker. So far the seller has sent me this......
In service less than 1 year ago. Speedo is in Kilometers @ 250k. Not sure if rebuilt. Approx 30 feet, 13’8 tall. Air suspension. Ceiling height is approx 5’10 ( I will measure) mechanical diesel. I will Check tranny. Manufactured by Volvo. Built for travel, touring, goes 58 mph, I will Check hours. It is reliable. Literally just driven from San Diego to Tulsa 1 month ago. Air brakes. Air suspension. 66-70 passengers depending on seat spacing
I will verify exact length and some of the other questions tomorrow.

I have been looking into this lately and it seems that, shockingly, there is no set standard for maximum height for CV's or RV's at the federal level and states make their own rules especially on non-federal roads/bridges. 13'6" is the most common height for semi's and bridges over federal highways/freeways need to be at least 14'-16' depending on the location.

Looks like that front section could easily be cut down and drop the overall height ...

a lot of people run Volvo in boats here in Maine in pleasure boats mostly seem to be alright i don't think they compare to cat or john deere or Cummins but they are as good as any i believe as long as you let them come up to temp you should be fine anyway ~happy trails

Well, after a few e-mails back and forth some new pics and info have been added. Still no info on trans. Anyone know of anywhere where one can gain some more insight on this "odd ball", as bus nut put it? Up to a whopping $70.69. For what I have designed it would save me a ton of build time and expense. Just shying away a bit due to the Volvo drivetrain.

Just e-mailed BBB, British Bus Company in hopes of some insight to the odd ball. Here's hoping they are responsive to my inquiries.

It hasn't met the reserve. With a BIN of 21, I wouldn't be surprised if the reserve is at least 15, if not $21,000.

With some research I was able to find out that the transmission is a Mercedes which means more than likely so is the motor. That right there, I lost all interest. Not that they're bad, but expensive for anything that might need replacing or repairing. Another thing that bothered me was the fact that it's a "buddy listing it for a buddy" kind of deal. The "buddy" and the lister know nearly nothing about what they are trying to sell. Might as well be trying to sell a spaceship.
