well, it will still run down the road. lol

I am not interested because it is one of those poptop vanagons, the top looks like it is probably broken. Split window or older bus I might be interested.

Ehheh, My bus breaks enough tree branches as it is.

vanagon came along in the 80's. That looks like a 68-79. Not cut up and welded to an old school bus they go for a sad amount of money for an old hippie van.
I saw one recently that was so rusty it was swiss cheese on wheels and it sold for 6500.
I really don't think that's ran on any road in a long time.

$2000 bid and still hasn't hit reserve. I'm guessing these guys know what they got.

Setra coach with a Series 60 Detroit, looks nice. New transmission 2 years ago and (allegedly) only 277K on the odo. That's very low for these buses.

But it's got "a diesel engine with a Alison transmission." All the truckers want those things!

Didn't a forum member here from years ago have one of these International bookmobiles? I seem to recall he was making the back half into a car garage.

I agree, price is absurd on that one even if it comes with new tires and some conversion-related crap. The electrical system isn't really a selling point either as a lot of people end up ripping out/refurbishing stuff that old.

This is a nice way of saying "built a shanty atop". Would something like this pass an inspection in California?
