Here's one that's been around my town for years. Comes up for sale once in a while. Pretty dated interior. Rust showing under the rub rails but it's a cool one.

Mostly just to compare how my 3/4 length with the 5.9 compares to the 8.3 in a full size.
But I have some friends interested and I could comment on it better if I have already looked at it in person.
A retarder or exhaust brake would be a desirable bonus for sure!

There's a definite difference. The 8.3 gets up and goes a lot quicker. It also works a lot less to get up to speed.

Utah School Fleet
Been lurking for awhile, but I stumbled across a couple of Utah buses each with about 45 pages of service records.
Any reason not to give these a serious look? Couple of low mileage ones.

1967 GMC Old Look transit bus. This vehicle is 30' long and has a seating capacity of 28. It was refurbished approximately 10 years ago by Complete Coach Works but has been mostly parked since and does show some weathering on the paint.

That is a super cool old bus. Almost too nice for a conversion.

Huh, I thought maybe this was the exact same make of bus as the one at the end of The Graduate with Dustin Hoffman (3m23s in for the bus):
but it's obviously not. Apparently I rode on this bus as a little kid, since Kent State bought it from the movie producers and added it to their fleet. It's a beautiful style of bus, that's for sure.
One more fun *The Graduate* fact: "Mrs. Robinson" was originally titled "Mrs. Roosevelt" which makes more sense given the rest of the lyrics.

The questions section is almost always full of cringe. Tiny house people as the dumbest questions. "Will you convert it to an RV for me" was actually one I've seen recently!

I would answer "yes" and then deliver it with a sleeping bag, a bottle of water and a five gallon bucket. If they complained I would toss in a lid for the bucket.

Although the missing parts concern me, hopefully batteries are the only thing needed to drive these away.

Apologies, I accidentally shared a bad link. It's in the Skoolie Nation fb group but unfortunately I cannot get a shareable link for the ad.
