One of the things I hate about facebook is the difficulty of sharing ad links outside of the site. If it isn't on Marketplace then there is no good option for a URL.
@EastCoastCB the guy sounded like he had a few of them for sale. Somewhere in New York state. Couldn't tell if they had the Spicers or some other transmission.

I don't like it either but I've been finding a lot of good buses on there that don't show up on the auction sites. I scored mine on there last summer.

It is half as long as the one for $120k, so $60k seems about right?
Here is one for $5,700 in Sacramento area (not $57,000, but maybe it was a typo?)
Basically if you don't have a ton of solar and a bunch batteries and other electronics, or extensive plumbing, tanks, pumps, etc, a bus is not really a whole lot different than a cargo van, as the 'household' stuff is most all free (as I know first hand..)

Hopefully the link will work and you won't see soda being poured into sand. Ha ha. A partially converted 2004 International bus for $4900.00 in New Jersey.

Seems really over priced. Also looks like someone built it out for bougie vanlife hipsters rather than living. With the washer, safe, tv, and minimal storage.
Probably should have gotten a sprinter to flip instead of a schoolie

How about this one? FREE FREE! FREE!!! And the engine doesn't have 315,000 miles, because it doesn't even have one.

1985 crown supercoach
Not the seller but spotted this today while shopping for something unrelated
https://www.ebay.com/itm/1985-CROWN-SUPERCOACH-TANDEM-AXLE-4-WHEEL-DRIVE-40-FOOT-THE-BEST-OF-THE-BEST/264795791085?hash=item3da70f1eed:g:X7oAAOSwDlxfDWS P#viTabs_0
Looks amazing, but not a project I could probably ever handle.

Damn, Crowns were $142,000 in 1986?
Is there any kind of online resource that indicates how much different buses cost brand-new? I'm really curious to know.

IDk bout any resource like that, would be cool.
I know a Wanderlodge could cost up to 350k back in the early 80's.

Someone a ways back posted a detailed maintenance log for their bus from the school system that had it. The costs total for everything ever done on it (including labor) was something like $150K. If a bus costs like $150K new (?) and the maintenance costs are about that much again, schools are paying $300K for a bus for 15 years, maybe. That's $20K a year, and with, say, 65 kids that's about $300 per kid. With 180 school days and two bus trips a day, that comes to about 83 cents a bus ride. Seems pretty reasonable, actually.
And then at the end of their lives they can be scrapped or turned into tiny houses for crazy people!

Think you might have misread that. Just took a look. Current bid is $1500. no $15000.

Who is the bravest of the brave here, ready to tackle this one? 1953 Gillig. They have already removed the seats and put in rv windows, so you are almost done!
