Hey Shortbussaler, I get that you want to sell your buses, but don't you think the THREE other identical threads you started was enough? Let's keep this thread dedicated to non-affiliated sale listings please.

Yep. That would be me.
BTW, don't be put off by the prospect of adding an engine driven A/C system. Crowns have plenty of space and possibilities for adding the compressor. I have pics of the factory installation on mine and what they did is fairly easy to duplicate. Extremely rare in a school bus doesn't begin to cover it. The system is actually the one used in Crowns' Highway bus models like the famous Atomics with their high level step up design. Modifying any Crown is what they are meant to do, that's how Crown made so many customized units to customer specs.
Here's some pics, if you want more pics contact me via email and I'll send them back to you.

Never seen a Crown in person. They're rare as hens teeth over here. Our schools were buying Vistas lol.

The Crown Super II's were available with DD 6-92's, Cummins 8.3, and CAT 3208 V8's. I've seen all of these and can verify the truth of the engine options.
I think I have pics too if anyone cares enough to ask for them.

See my reply above regarding the possibility of adding an engine driven compressor and assorted plumbing and evaporators inside. Certainly doable and may not even be all that much more trouble than putting some kind of mini-split system in. Lots of options for compressors and the system size doesn't need to be anywhere near as large as the ones needed to cool 50 hot bodies when it was a bus. I'm actually thinking of removing one of the internal evaporators in mine to recover some space and because I'm not sure I'll need all that cooling capacity. Only time will tell as I get into the conversion and see what I'll really be needing. Crowns are basically designed for modifications and customization. As long as there's actual space to do something your imagination and bank account are the only limiting factors.

Is an ex prison bus bad karma for a skoolie????
It’s got a 8.3 Cummins though…
I’d be scared what I’d find during demo.
BUT imagine the look, she would get rolling into the campground! 🤣🤣🤣

I can help with that when I get back from vacation. I’ll be over in Florida for the next week or so.

Sure. I’ll check it out. I just sent them a message about it. It’s probably a repair shop so maybe Monday I can see it.
In the mean time contact them with your questions and PM your contact info to me. I’m no expert on transmissions but I’m happy to help get it shipped. [emoji846]
