You should question me - cause I dunno. Somebody on discord posted these and said they were 3060s, but that was because somebody else told them that. He said it wasn't an AT545 or an MT643, which I think means it could only be a 3060.

IDk if yall are interested, but for what skoolies go for these days more folks should look to the wanderlodge. They can be had in nice shape for as low as 10-15k. For now.
Anyone interested check out the Wanderlodge buy and sell group on FB.

I agree on the Wanderlodge. If it weren't for the interior look I was after, I would have gone the Wanderlodge route. I was also not too keen on the DD engines though.

The 200'S were all 6.0's in that era. If it were a 466 would be a 300. At least I'm pretty sure of this.

(I'm not affiliated of course.) For the amount of work already done, low miles and a running bus for $5700 seems like a good deal, maybe there's a catch. The bus is too long for me.

I think the catch is that the work is not very good quality, and it appears to be completely uninsulated. I guess that's two catches, twenty short of a great book.

Several Ford B700 lift buses.

https://www.govdeals.com/index.cfm?f...4&acctid=19243

There are 3 or 4 of these just listed, or about to be, on GovDeals. All LA Unified School District buses...so no rust. I had a chance to look at them this week and took some photos. I didn't crawl under to check the tranny tag, but someone can ID it from the photo...and it's not an At545. I only tilted the hood on one and it had a rebuilt engine in it - but I didn't note the asset number, nor look at the others, so I'm afraid that wasn't much help...sorry! I was focused on picking up a bus and just looked at these to share pics here.

These don't have the same headroom as International/Blue Birds of the same length. There's a small step in the floor. I'm 5' 10" so it looks like these are right at 6' based on my standing with fingers above my head test.

Yes, I forgot to mention the air conditioning. Thanks for the tranny ID. I have to look at photos to know that!

There are 3 of them listed now and I think there is at least one more there, which should list soon. The batteries in all of them were dead, but looked new...of course, sitting dead with a load will kill them.

Seems like a very reasonable price...

1995 International 3800, already painted and gutted.

Wanderlodge - $12,500

This week-old listing in CA looks like a pretty good deal on a nice motorhome. For heaven's sake, don't call a Wanderlodge a conversion or a skoolie around an owner! They're really well-made RVs.

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...1701916380598/

I am actually a bit surprised that, at that price, it's still listed. It might help that the seller didn't mention Wanderlodge anywhere in the listing. It's listed as a Blue Bird Bus...

Wanderlodges are still under the radar as far as the bus fad goes.
They're not RV's- they're "coaches" lol

Yes...a coach! No offense to the Wanderlodgers here...like you. I know better...

They're great rigs and $12k seems like quite a value for a ready-to-move-into rig in this market. Am I right on this, or are they going for less? You're our resident Wanderlodge expert now. I've seen them but never owned one.

1998 Wanderlodge with fire damage in the rear bedroom area. No mention of mechanical condition and parts appear to be missing throughout the unit.

All this for $50k asking price
