what are you looking for? most road A/C is all aftermarket, many parts are interchangeable.. ie comopressors, brackets are generic, condensors can be replaced with other manufacturers units pretty easily...

if you have A/C now, it should have a nameplate somewhere on it...

carrier, Trans/AIR, Thermoking, etc..

nice lookin Trans/AIR, marry those to a standard Sanden 7 series or Selttec TM-16 unless a compressor is included..

you could also use that as a Tie-In system to dash air if the van front already has dash air. yank the front condensor and use the T/A one.

looks like that is 20-30K BTU system, would cool a 4 window rear of a Bus nicely, wouldnt cool a conventional bus (even a shortie).

Yeah, that's not very encouraging for my 5k btu AC. It didn't work last year with the bus stripped out during the hot part of the summer. I was hoping it would work now that I have insulation in the bus.

This was just a small AC that I bought in '89 to reduce humidity in a bedroom. It's amazing it still works. Mini-split system in the plans, but only after acquiring the appropriate genny.

theres a HUGE difference in cooling a stock Moving , operating bus vs cooling a parked highly insulated one. your 5k A/C will probably do nicely until you g oto drive it on the road into the sun on a hot highway.. engine heat blasting in.. but when you want to sleep at night you'll be nice N cold

We've just started having the occasional 80* day now and then. I'm still sitting in full sun but it's comfortable so far.

My little old AC just barely fits through a fully opened side window. It fits so snugly it doesn't require any fill around the edges. To bad it's 30 years old. Mini-split system in my future with two zones hopefully.

Honestly I doubt I'll use an AC unless I leave Oregon, and that doesn't seem smart during the summer. This is a destination. Come to Oregon and cut down a tree.
