Like so many high-end conversions and RVs, there's a lot of relatively dark wood inside it which makes it seem more confined than it actually is. I don't understand why wood is so popular here. I would want the lightest brightest airiest feel inside, using a minimum of wood such as just around the windows. There's also another rarity on eBay now, a beautiful old classic 1968 Mercedes O-302 which has been nicely converted:
Classic Mercedes Bus Conversion | eBay With a modern US drivetrain and a pleasing interior, that would be a real head-turner wherever you go - I've never seen another O-302 anywhere in this country, let alone a conversion. Very nice. I've traveled many a mile in O-302s through Turkey, Iran and Afghanistan, and they are still one of my favorites.
