P30 w/cummins 4BT

I know it's not a bus, but some of y'all are running the same chassis.

So it's the chevy p30, this one's an 85 (or 86) with a beautifully running cummins 4bt and four speed gm manual transmission with a granny gear for 1st. Not sure what the rear diff ratio is, but it tops out at a skosh over 58MPH and is honestly kinda squirrely over 54. She loud. Starts ******* great, runs great, shifts great.
Electrical functions, but honestly should be redone-fortunately there's almost no sensors, few lights, no computer, and absolutely no bullshit, so it's dead simple for a total redo.

All aluminum stepvan body (grumann olsen) with the narrow breadtruck doors, the taillights were redone with LEDs. Hydraulic brakes I've never dealt with because the downshift brake action is plenty sufficient 97% of the time.

Currently has a murphy bed with memory foam mattress, and shelving on the other side, been used as a work truck, storage unit, blocker vehicle, tow truck and occasional domicile. Third owner.

I changed all the fluids when I got it ten years ago, and have kept up on motor oil changes. Starts the same as the day I bought her.

The sign window-things on the side snap open real easy so you can swap in your own signage quicklike-I've currently covered the second owners company name with just a blank. Could easy flip-flop two logos, run two businesses or some such chicanery.

It's never gotten stuck and has done everything I've ever asked with gusto-except getting sold.

Asking 5k obo, no 1k is not a reasonable offer. Would greatly prefer you actually look at the ******* thing before lowballing me. Located in Oakland California.

I have an unfilled temp tag ($35 value!) so you can get it where you need. They're legally good for two weeks, but insurance is on you.

Preference given to someone who wants a great truck, she still rocks

Will update with more pics/deets if interest.
Will be sad if delete

That would be a great start for a conversion for someone. Certainly looks nice.

Some of these early P30’s have a” pumpkin type “ differential, making gear ratio changes relatively simple. This could make it easier to keep up with highway traffic
