parting out RV trailer, taking bids.

Parting out 1995 Teton RV trailer, 35' with 3 slide outs, this was top of the line in it's day. This is for all the parts you can remove and haul off except the whole RV, I am interested in the triple axle frame ONLY. I am doing this so someone can salvage everything they need for a skoolie conversion. When I did my conversion in 2006 it was so hard to get parts, especially decent parts. Now this thing has had a leaking roof for a few years so the floors are no good, the slide outs themselves are junk but the actual sliding parts still work. There are so may parts like the duo-therm heat/air conditioner on the roof, there is a furnace for the bathroom and one for the bedroom, kitchen stove, microwave, fridge, vanity, shower, the stool is old, washing machine, windows, door, roof vents, awning, power panel, wiring, water tanks, anything you think you could use but it all needs a good cleaning. Now to remove the Oak cabinets, and there are a lot of them throughout, you will have to figure out how that is going to go, I'm not a carpenter and they were built to stay so you may want your uncle the cabinet maker to help. I think the easiest way to remove a lot of this stuff is with a sawzall, forget taking out all those screws, saw out the windows, door etc then you can do the finish work at home. This is in central MO so you would want to be in the midwest to take advantage of this. Please I would like it to go to one person or group, not 15 people, if you want just a few of the parts then hopefully you can work that out with the person that presents the highest bid and maybe you could give them a hand while you're at it. It would behoove you to take a little trip and see what you are getting yourself into. I have no title so it can't leave the property for legal reasons. I am interested in offers so PM me.

most of my appliances are from the 80's with no electronics and they work quite well so I wouldn't be afraid of appliances from 1997. Sure would like someone to strip out this RV, I think it's a heck of a deal, everything you need to convert a skoolie. Sportyrick

Haven't heard a peep from anyone on getting everything they need for their Skoolie conversion out of this old trailer.

Here is a bump for you. I agree, these appliances are dependable, no circuit boards. I purchased a 90's camper for my conversion.

I would personally take fridge, A/C and hot water tank as a spare but shipping would be crazy and getting it to Canada past Duty is another deal breaker for me.

That's surprising that nobody has come after that. I just spent $1100 on just a stove. That would give you an amazing head start to building a skoolie. Anything that doesn't work would probably still have parts available, they used to build things that way. The cabinet work alone could save countless hours.

It might be the distance between you & the intetested parties.

This trailer was delivered to me for free. The Craigslist seller was asking $500 but also wanted it "gone now". He called me back, a few days after my inquiry. Explained that other buyers were too far away, requesting delivery, while I'm within a mile of him. So he dumped it at my place - For Free. (He shredded two tires on the way)

I only wanted the 30' trailer chassis. Although the front & rear awnings are a perfect size match for an RE rear window.

As a suggestion. Pull the fridge, stove, A/C, electrical panel, charge, hotwater tank, toilette and tanks, windows and awnings. Sell them individually. You can have that all out in one day. Don't waste your time on the furnace from my experience.

For the cabinets and what not. Don't bother. Smash it with a sledge hammer. To remove them is crazy. They are screwed and glued from the outside before they install the sheet metal. When your left with walls and roof. I just used a skill saw and cut through everything. Sawzall sucked and mine caught fire in my hand.

Ended up selling the whole camper as a flat bed for $800. Windows I got $150 and door was $50. I ended up getting everything I needed for my conversion for $1000 at the end of the day.

Not really, I could have sold some things already but I would rather let the lucky person get it all.
