Seeking unconverted bus from MO

Looking to buy, only got $2k to play with. Please let me know if you have or see anything.

Search the auction sites (public and many private). FB marketplace, CL and few others daily. Just tossing it out here hoping for some good fortune.

Thank you

There are some $2k buses available at Lamers in Wisconsin. But you have to really inspect them well for rust. If you luck out you'll find one that only has rust on a corner or so that's reasonable to replace.

I don't think you're going to find anything at $2,000 that doesn't need work.

Here's one that runs, but has an engine leak. Not so bad if it's just an oil pan or valve cover leak, but a ticking time bomb if it's a head gasket or rear main seal.

Corner rust aka butt-cheek rust is a bad sign.

OP- for 2k you better start watching the auctions. Private sales and dealers aren't gonna give you much for 2 grand.

I am in Missouri. If it is a native Missouri bus be most careful. Be prepare to get real dirty inspecting the bottom side. Any bus that price will take money to get road ready, if that is the plan. I am going to look at an 1800 asking price unit tomorrow. Hasn't run since parked, 3 years ago. Have to assume tank is full of rust, been told brakes are not good. Mice have taken over. So we know it isn't sealed. So when I see it it will be far worse than told of. Just know that going in. Enjoy the ride.
