I am not trying to thread crap here, and don't want skoolie to become a "mean" forum. That being said, there is not much here but smoke asking for $20K. I make my living selling online and pics are an absolute must have. You have a bout a dozen, some are repeats. None are of a good quality or size for judgement of build quality. You never mention insulation of any sort, bus stock insulation (if it is even there) is worthless and likely filled with mold and/or mildew. You have no pics of toilet or shower. You seem to have carpet down, what's under that? Where did the bus originate? Is there rust? Did you fix rust? if so where and how? Do you have any pics of the work you did to the bus which demonstrates more than half-assed skills? The bus us still yellow and therefore illegal in much of the country, not to mention the red lights still up front. What engine and transmission is in it? How many miles have you put on it, and in what time frame? Brakes: Air or Hydraulic? Does title say MH or bus? What makes you think that it would cost $40k to build? What are the tires date codes? How many and where are the 12 volt and 120 volt outlets? What is her top speed? Is the driver's seat the only seat belt? What does the kitchen have? Fridge, stove, oven (brand/age/size/fuel)? How long have you had the bus? Do you live full time or weekend RV type use? You mention a trailer and provide no info, except that is has a genrator...what kind/size/fuel? How many hours are on Genny? how do you wire it up to the bus? Why do you have a ladder on the side, is there a roof deck?
I guess what I'm getting at is, there are many buses out there for sale in a similar condition and size to yours for $5k or less, what makes yours worth $20k?

Honestly, I am hoping he or she will take this as a challenge to put up more/better pics and highly detailed info both about the bus itself and the build/process. A little back-story would be cool as well, I like people who think and act outside of the norm. I wasn't meaning to be cruel, I do come across that way, but it is not who I am.

I see no cruelty in the preceding post. On the contrary I see an advance to a reality check:

Part one of the education would be to see what 20K will purchase in the Converted Coach RV world at this moment in time:

In relation to that then check how the "School bus market" stacks up.
Even in very high end coaches no one recoups their investment. The school bus market even less so. I'm not going to tell you what your "build" is worth. But I suggest a realistic evaluation: I say this without any fear whatsoever that you have already sold this Build..............I look at thousands of buses a week. The question you need to ask yourself is how long do you want this bus to sit around and how quickly you would like to see some return on your investment to put into your "new" project. Again not to tear down. But to get you on your way............

Pic are here as mentioned earlier in the thread.

I suggest you break things down. Bus only price. Trailer only price. Tent only price. You will have a hard time finding someone who wants it all or wants to buy it all and then sell off the trailer and tent. Put it on Craigslist for local pickup only. If someone wants the trailer and/or the tent then you can make a deal. It will also allow you to to have someone looking at the tent and you can say... I got this trailer you can pack the tent into and by the way, I got this bus that you can tow the trailer with the tent packed into it... You may find someone who knows someone who is looking for one of the other items.

I think your price is a bit high. But I'm cheap. Plus I know what it cost to convert my 40 ft bus. I know what it will cost to do another one.

Good luck and get a bit more descriptive, add more detailed photos, and appeal to emotions and desires. You aren't selling a bus, you are selling an idea.

Hey Lornashinske. How's that 8.2 Liter four stroke detroit fuel pincher working out for you? Guess you aren't breaking any land speed records but has it been reliable.???
