Post Short flat noses could be retiring from San Jose school district in 2019...

Oak Grove School District in San Jose, CA has a few flat noses like that in the 20-26’ range. The buses look like they’re running their last school year, and could be heading towards retirement this year or next. I’m sure I rode in one of these very buses in grade school that I am now driving next to on Blossom Hill Road. Now that I think about a good chunk of Oak Groves fleet looks like it’s about to retire.

I am putting this out there because I heard this type of school bus is rare and highly sought after in the skoolie community.

A bus from CA might be one of the best places to get a rust free example.
I'm not sure how much the state has regulated the engine performance of their busses though...

Thanks for the info!

How would you suggest finding these busses? I google'd the school district for surplus and auto auctions with no luck.

I'm a bit of a noob so thanks in advance for the help ;)

They usually hit GovDeals.com if it's a school. Look around when school lets out in June to see an influx of buses at auction.
