Good question. I'd scour the Web for prices on bus conversions. Off hand, for a skoolie, anything over 10k, I believe, is too much.

Hubby would try to beat you down on the price to $8K, but he likes haggling on price. It's a sport. There is a nurse who recently posted on here who might be interested. Like Bus-Bro said.... $10K is high for a skoolie and this one still has all the windows in it.

First rule of bus conversion (whether highway coach or skoolie) forget about getting your $$ out of it.

you must not want a nice bus if think $10.000 is to much. a good converted bus will cost you that much, unless you want someone's halfbutt build one put together or juck, a good converted bus completed with no rust low miles will be that much or more,and i have seen a few in my time,thats why some of these campground will not let them in...i have a 94 bird and it looks like a class A and was asking $12.000 toke two yrs in the makeing..but some i have seen,,,, lol,,, i won't clam to own.

i say if you going to build a bus,do it nice an take you time....i know it a rat race out there, BUT...

Ha ,MJ, if you are going for a flat nose,go fo a southern bus ( no Rust ) and you want one with heavy axles. there are all kinds of opinion's on make and models
i like the blue birds there well insolute,and also fine one with belly bay's..save you a lot of headach;s....the TC 2000 are nice

i got lucky on mine it was a 94 tc2000 bird with only 36000 miles use just for the band and small trips,,,so go to your school dis and see when there sale is and can u get on it..
