Skoolie ready for customization
This is an awesome opportunity for someone looking for a great bus that only needs the finishing touches.
It is a 1988 Ford dog nosed bus, 36’ long.
Air brakes, the engine runs perfectly (we’ve driven it from Northern Ohio to Georgia and back!) with ~104k mileage. There’s still a lot of life in this bus.
We fully stripped it down to the metal floor, treated the metal with phosphoric acid to remove any rust, and then ground any stubborn spots. The whole thing was treated with a rustproof primer, and the small holes (from seat bolts and some minor pitting from the removed rust) were patched with fiberglass so the whole floor is solid with the exception of the steps - these will need to be patched.
We raised the entire roof about 18” and a professional welder actually welded all the rib extensions in. There is plenty of headroom in this bus! We also installed 2 vents in the roof, but sadly, these have not held up and will need to be replaced. (They are a standard size and replacements are inexpensive.)
The bus has been framed, and insulated with a moisture resistant spray foam. The wiring was done by a certified electrician, and the bus is plumbed (although we have not cut any holes for the drains yet - only the intake lines are hooked up.)
There is a full sized rv fridge that runs on either propane or electric. We extended the emergency exit in the back to a standard sized door opening.
This bus is already titled and registered as a motor home in Ohio!
Captains chairs (from a van), a vanity, framed bunk beds, kitchen counters are all included. This bus just needs the final touches done to make it your own!
