I do have an excellent short bus that is on pg 8 in the skoolies gallery. "Aimless pursuits" The photos are way behind. This thing is already totally converted with some serious equipment and skill. It will pull anything. it has a 466 and 4spd Allison auto. I just drove it to WY from IN with it loaded down, and a small toad vehicle, slow and steady but with no problems.
I am living in it now very nicely and am soon to put up all the picks. and info. I have had fun with it and it would make someone a great camper. I am going to sell it but not any time soon. I have work and a free place to park for the summer through fall, so once i get it advertised, Sept/ Oct would be the soonest I'd sell. Look for its complete picture set and add and tell all your friends about it!

Its still for sale. And still working very nice to live in. ALl you have to do is type in "Aimless Pursuits" in the search engine in the Gallery. It went up on ebay auction with a reserve of 13,000 a few weeks ago. I had several watchers and over a 1000 people view it. I talked with a handful of people over email and phone. It is the wrong time of year I think. I am in no hurry it is nice to have. Any questions please email

I am in Indiana with the bus now.
It has 173,000 miles.
I updated some info on the bus in its gallery.
I am living comfortably in it in Indiana with no Generator or utility bills, only an occasional plug in for full maintaince recharge, now that we are in the cloudy fall season back here.

I am having the differential gear ratio changed from 4:78 to 4:10.
I calculated the ratios with a little dial computer.
new speeds: rpms are good. It will run quieter with better fuel mileage and have an intersate speed capablity without losing any noticeable low end power.

68 mph ~ 2500 rpm
60 ~2100
55 ~1950

I can't find the paper right now so these aren't exact but the change is perfect.
