The most ridiculously overpriced / price gouge-y for sale ad I've come across

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/rvs...134554711.html

I like a lot about the bus, its creative, a unique layout, and some interesting features. From the looks of the electrical system they used high quality components on the electrical system.

And I definitely give them props for the for sale ad (58 page PDF) and tons of good pics.

But 115K for what looks like a fairly average quality DIY conversion, with what look like mostly low to mid range materials and still has stock metal headliner / original insulation, seems absolutely insane.

I've seen many buses in the 25-40k range with much higher quality builds that still feel overpriced to me. I can't imagine paying over 100K for something that wasn't absolutely immaculate in most every way.

Oooh they have a pamphlet. That's gotta be worth at least 20k right?

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say they double typed a 1or a 0 in their price.

Wow... they left the uber-valuable factory insulation in-tact. That's also gotta be worth another $20K.

Thanks for the laughs this morning. I needed that!

I feel like not having $115,000 any more is the kind of problem that having a bunch of friends from an advertisement can't fix.

It seems like someone in the group took a few marketing classes in college. But it also seems like they missed the class on Market Value and Pricing.

Good thing I had the garbage can next to me.

What a joke. every candid pick is sooooo staged. pathetic really.

good electrical components, yes. craftsmanship, meh. lack of insulation, no a/c. this bus leaves a lot to be desired.

dual rear wheels and a 2wd. lol.

Stock roof skin, stock windows, no AC, 115K.

My bus is now for sale! Only $80,000! That will leave you 35K to do what you want with it!

I think I can smell those pictures... I'm not sure exactly how to describe it. Smells like body odor, wet dog, burnt ramen noodles, locker room, weed, feet, and broken dreams.
