Wanted: 6 Window Diesel Short or Shuttle Bus in or Near Connecticut

Hi. I've been on the look out for a 6 window/30 passenger short bus on a van chassis in or near Connecticut. Would prefer a short bus but I'm open to a shuttle bus as well. Looking to avoid the 6.0-6.5L. Hoping to not go higher than 3k.

Have looked on Craigslist, Facebook and Offerup. Also called a few local school bus companies. I did find one a few hours away on Craigslist but the seller hasn't been all that responsive. Over all I haven't been having much luck.

Thanks. I've been looking both place as well. Maybe right now just isn't the time I was meant to find one. I guess I will just have to wait and be patience for something to pop up.

For a newbie...when you see “doesn’t start, needs battery, local travel only” should that worry you if you can’t just verify it needs a new battery? (Coming from someone with no mechanical knowledge)

Unless they're practically giving it away, run away. There are too many running, roadworthy options under $4,000 to fuss with a bus that doesn't start and is good for "local travel only".
