WANTED: Cummins/Allison Donor Bus

I'm looking for a salvage/wrecked/rusted/cheap bus that I could use for a donor project. Has to be a front engine and in driving condition. The body can be shot. Actually, it could be a wrecker if it were close enough for me to just get the parts off of it. Under $3k preferably. Please let me know if you have one or know where to get one. Thanks again.

Too bad it needs to be in running condition.... A guy that runs a truck shop up the road from us stopped in the other day, said if I still wanted to by the former Navy Skookie (white, high roof, no school lights, cummins, new tires) very clean bus, but it needs a head gasket... cost $500.... Chespaeake Virginia... gotta buy it quick before it's gone!!

Sounds cool, but I would have no way to get it back to Texas.

I've got a 1992 Ford/Bluebird with around 150K on it with a 5.9 and Allison MT643 (excellent tranny) that I'd let go for $2900. You can drive it home from Vermont. Fleet maintained. Let me know if you are interested. Dave at mailto:asnowsquall@yahoo.com

Wanted... Flex coupling

I need a few parts to connect a Cummins 743 or 855 cu. in engine to a Allison trans. I have the trans and engine. I need the parts to connect these units. I'll drive a long distance to get these parts. I'm tired of shifting.
