My apologies for the relationship loss that brought you here. I hope it will be for the better.
If no luck on a seller, check out some of the builders that do this for a living. I have no experience with them as I prefer my own work, but some of their stuff looks great online.
I know of two in Denver, Colorado Custom Coachworks and another chromeyellowcorp.com. Another in TN I think, skoolie homes... Google will get you there.
Or, enjoy the other half of the adventure and use the more experienced guys on this site and learn to DIY, to me, that enhances the experience ten fold.

Thanks for your kind words. I will look for those. However, I am without a house now. I don't really have the time to wait for a bus to get built for me.
Thank you again.

Hey, we could use a little more info. what is your budget? you mean 22 feet long right? where are you located? how far are you will to go to get your bus. 22' would have you pretty much narrowed down to a cutaway type bus. Welcome....

Hey, thank you for your response. Yes I am looking for something about 22 feet. It just has to be less than 26 feet so I may park it on the street. I live in New Orleans but I am willing to fly wherever to buy a bus. Then drive it home. I require it to be livable and drivable so I may get it back to NOLA.

cometbusNOLA, all right, now we are talking. NOLA. under 26' is important for street parking. good to know you have specific limitations. finding a toilet and a shower into a shorty will be difficult, but I know they are out there. I will be on the lookout. I understand the importance of those things. best of luck. you are in the right spot for finding help.

A sink with a shower nozzle is fine too. I do want a composting toilet though. I don't want to carry a black water tank.

For sure, happy hunting. Will keep an eye out, for some reason I still search for busses when I don't need another. I think I am not alone in my struggle on this site.

I had a guy build mine in 3 months and she’s stunning for $30k!!! I’m sure you can find one for sale a lot less on Craigslist! Good wishes to you! Stay strong and remember: We can’t control the wind, but we can adjust our sails!

Go to Youtube and search Chevy 3500 for sale. There is a completed one there and it has everything you need. I wanted it even when I had just bought one and was about to start work on it.

hello - cometbusnola - take a look at mine. With a few minor upgrades you can get all you need. The engine on mine is a beast. Cut and paste - its also on skoolie. https://indianapolis.craigslist.org/...721781514.html

a fully converted short bus in great condition might not be ready for a while but I'd suggest maybe a discreet van conversion for the first year while you sort it out ?
