What's a good price to buy a used school bus?
Is there any website out there for buses like Kellys Blue Book for cars? I'm thinking about buying this bus and turning it into a party bus; Up for bids is a 1990 Ford School Bus. This bus runs and drives great. This bus was purchased directly from the school bus company, and has been well maintained. It has roughly 175k miles on it. It has a 6.6 L Ford diesel engine. The transmission is a 5 speed with a 2 speed rear end. The tires are in great shape. Its rated at 59 passengers, although there are some seats removed at the rear of the bus. This bus has a clear title and is registered as an RV, although it still needs to be fully converted.
any advice or suggestions on how to price out a bus or what the best brand/ specs are appreciated. BTW I won't be driving this any more than 100 miles per use/event.
