Working to save Crowns from Scrappers and for sale

For anybody really interested in getting the very best, toughest, longest lasting and fun to drive school bus, I can help with info and
leads on units for sale. Full disclosure!. I personally have no interest as a buyer or seller of buses, I'm not in the business of reselling
buses but if I can be of assistance in locating any for a truly interested party since I live in So Cal and lived right down the street
in Chino from where Crown moved to and finally closed their doors, I would like to facilitate the getting together of qualified buyers
and sellers in order to save from scrapping the remaining Crowns. Right now as I post this I know of a Crown for sale in AZ. and it
may not last beyond the end of the year (dec 2013). It's an unbelievable opportunity. It's a 1989 (one of the last built) 40ft. 3-axle
300 hp turbo cummins with a 10spd OD Fuller Roadranger and something less than 200k total miles. The crowning (sorry, couldn't resist)
extra that it has is factory installed full air-conditioning. Even if you don't keep the factory air, it usually means that the coach has much
more and better insulation in the walls which is definitely worth having for any conversion. If there are any really interested buyers please
let me know here and a way to contact you, I can reach the seller and maybe buy some time past the dec 31 deadline. He's only asking
$4k for it and he has the pink slip in his possession, I've seen it. It came straight out of School District service and has almost new
Goodyear rubber plus a spare all around. I bought the twin to it and can vouch for it's easy 70+ mph road speed with lots more when I
brought it home. This thing is as close to a brand new Crown with no mechanical issues that you will ever likely find. I tried desperately
to buy both of them but just don't have the money. I'd hate for this to go to the scrapper, but that is it's fate unless someone can step up
and purchase/save it. I can provide help in getting it and delivery if that is a concern and will train to drive the Roadranger, anything
to get this saved from scrapping. It's a one of a kind unit and well worth it.

I have a sickness for Cummins engines like some of you have for Crowns.

Wow. I'm looking to do a conversion to live in, and this would be my dream bus. I'd assume it's gone by now though. No way I'm that lucky. Maybe?

Yes that bus got sold and is shown on the skoolie conversion thread as
Traveling Man and user serpent. He is doing a great job of it and well
along in his conversion. As it happens I have received so many requests
for information on other Crowns, and while calling around I have found
a few that will be available for sure around June of this year (2014)
the end of school year. All are still in current service and being used
and maintained every day. If interested check out the site I created to
