Would anyone be interested in a 1999 mechanical DT466?

Howdy everyone
I don't have one in my possession yet, but I'm looking at picking up a parts/storage bus which has lots of things that are compatible with my running bus, except for the engine.
The engine is a 175hp mechanical DT466 with 211000km (131109 miles). Starts easy and doesn't smoke. Looks relatively clean for a several decades old engine living in Northern Ontario, I must say!
Anyhow, I have no use for it and would prefer to sell it. Slamming it in my short bus would be sweet, but that would mean a dog house up front. My gal would have to relocate to the back for that to work

Just gauging interest...

Where is it located? Any chance there's a manual trans with it?

I'm up in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario area. This offer is probably most applicable to the Canadian crowd.

The engine appears to be tied to the much maligned AT545.

If it was attached to a 6-speed Spicer or another manual transmission with more than 5 gears then I would be snagging it for myself!

So it's very possible that it actually isn't a 99. It's definitely a late 90s bus, but I'm going off the seller's word for that 1999 business. I didn't think to grab the VIN and look it up, though I will do that if I'm leaning towards grabbing the bus.

Yeah too far. I like my dt360 but I'd love to build a silly hot rod with another dt.
