WTB Solar System & Composite Toilet

My wife and I recently purchased a semi-converted Skoolie. The first thing we want to do is convert it to solar power. Would prefer a complete setup with panels, batteries, etc. We will run quite a few items on it so needs to be a decent size system.

We are located in central Florida. PM is best for first contact.

Thank you!

I'm not sure if this is "want to buy" or "want to build." There are companies that will design and install a complete system for you - maybe even some individuals here.

Solar is AMAZING and one of the great things is that with some effort, you can easily design and build a system that will perform the way you want/require. There is no rocket science involved and lots of people that can answer questions and assist.

The negative is that "effort" is usually the learning curve to figure out what you need to know to do the design. That usually starts with developing an electrical budget (meaning amount of electrical power required, not dollars available). Of course, just investing X dollars without any knowledge of what it might do for you is one approach but not usually the best approach.

I am pretty mechanically inclined as I have been an auto mechanic for almost 20 years. I am looking to see if there was a used setup maybe someone changing to higher quality panels or higher or lower watts. Would like a minimum of 300 watts. Just figured I would see if I could help someone out and save a few bucks buying used vs new.
