Bought retired bus, now need to drive it 100 miles

I'm with State Farm also. Conversion from bus to RV requires 4 of 6 or 7 items:
cooking place w/ onboard fuel source
gas/electric fridge
toliet with exterior evac
heat/ac with power other than engine
portable water supply (this one made no sense)
110 V power supply (she didnt explain this either)
Sleeping quarters

Only 4 are required to be considered an RV.
I guess you need to educate your agent some more.

I have AllState. They wanted to know if it was professional or self-built. I explained that I have experience with building code construction and they said I was a professional.

Ah and I see I didn't read far enough down either. I went with Good Sam's Roadside (their top plan) simply because one never knows with a retired bus when it might need the tow and AAA has a limit to how many tows or calls you can do per year. Good Sam's does not have a limit! I suggest doing a comparison. Even Allstate Roadside isn't as good when it comes to that stat.

Find out if Good Sam will do articulated buses. Imagine towing one!

I have had State Farm for 50 years. My office has covered me on many purchace with just a phone call and the vin number.

Hello the7exp thank you for this question as I'm researching and came across the same question. Thank you to all that answered. I live in NY as well and was curious on how to transport it from a private sale to my home.

Was this the Neoplan from facebook in Connecticut? I was going to ask why it was on a tow truck in the pics and the listing was taken down. I wondered how well an articulated could get around off the pavement. I've also heard the joint is expensive if worn out. Wouldn't the bend in the middle help in turning? Reverse would take some practice...
