I've been with State Farm for my car for 15+ years, but they would NOT insure my school bus, not even under a commercial policy. I had tried it, lasted long enough to get it home before I was notified that they canceled the policy. I too am using GMAC... You should at least call them and see what they have to say...
BTW, I'm a native of Mass... lived in various town in Worcester County... usually claim to hail from Sutton as that is where I lived though my High School years....
