Bus title to Rv title Ny

Hey guys we’ve recently bought a bus and and would really like to get the title changed to an RV title.
I know there’re some things that need to be as far the knowledge I’ve gain in the past couple weeks.

We will have bed/bench seating
Half bathroom with running water and a full sink setup
Electric heat (permanent)
120ac from a 2000 watt inverter
And I do believe we’re gonna rig up a cook plate that is gas or something like that with a gas line to an under the bus propane tank.

How does this sound to everyone?

Anyone else deal with Title conversion in NY?

Thanks in advance

4 of 6 requirements need to be met in most states. Seems like you have them covered.

4 out of the 6:
*Perm inside cooking (propane or electrical)
*Refrigeration
*Toilet with exterior exhaust vent and service
*AC & Heating with separate power source the the vehicles power
*Potable water source to include (sink, faucet, and tanks with exterior service points)
*External power source (generator, solar, etc..)

Yup seems we’re on the right track. Now does anyone know if there is an inspector that will come out from the dmv here in NY? Or will the insurance company just want to inspect for the rv title?

Also any recommendations for a permeant single gas burner cook top?

You'll likely not have issues registering it, insurance will want proof of conversion.
