Re: Doubles endorsements in michigan?

So you're wanting to pull two trailers behind a bus? Oofda! Watch your maximum length. Minnesota is at 65 feet. My bus is not terribly large, but is 36 feet from tip to tail. That only leaves 29 feet for two trailers which means you aren't going to be pulling much behind it.

Re: Doubles endorsements in michigan?

I live in Michigan and I think you can only pull a 2nd trailer with a 5th wheel trailer..

But a bus is not a tractor-trailer. You technically need to have a recreational vehicle (camper trailer) attached via a fifth wheel hitch to tow any other combo. I'm not sure that a CDL endorsement will help there or not. I looked into being able to tow my play truck and boat around for duck hunting, etc but found it was just not an option. In either case you might as well get the endorsement for a measly $5.
