How do I value my bus?

Hey folks! I purchased a 1993 DT466 bus (double checking the engine when I get home) with a Ward body from auction a year and a half ago. Unfortunately, I am really not able to make the time for this project right now. I am aware that diesels' need to be driven regularly to hold up over time and would really like to see someone use this bus. That being said, I'm trying to figure out how to value it without getting a yellow book or any of the others. How does one go about appraising such a thing? It's a 62 passenger with 147,000 miles on it. Runs great and was on the road until 6 months before I purchased with regular county servicing.

Any help is much appreciated!

Everett

Hey Everett! John here. (yes, the John you worked with and who is coming back to WV!!)

Auction value on that could be anywhere in the 1,500-3,000 range, depending on the day. To get top Dollar - put it on Facebook Marketplace - It's crazy how those prices go there.

Do CL or EBAY and you could do OK - I guess the big Question is how much you have in it and how much you want to make, if any?

PM me if you wanna chat!

John
