Were you successful in getting comprehensive or collision coverage, then? I called GMAC this morning (and a couple weeks ago too, actually) and both times was told that they won't write comp or collision on a skoolie unless the conversion was done professionally -- liability only for DIY buses. I had comp and collision coverage with Progressive with my previous bus a year ago, but at the time they would only cover it up until the conversion was done. Now Progressive tell me that they don't want to touch it, even unconverted, because my intent is to convert.

Does anybody have any leads on a carrier who'll write comp/coll on a DIY conversion?
