Insurance in Ohio?

Looking for recommendations for insurance in Ohio.
I recently purchased a Chevy 3500 collins short bus and I’m currently looking for companies that will insure my schoolie.

to insure it before its converted progressive commercial policy "commercial vehicle for personal use" works.. once its converted then you will need to get another plan (others can chime in)..

I have had progressive on my redbyrd bus since 2016.. (it still has seats).. .. progressive told me they wont insure them if converted but will unconverted..

trick was to CALL and not go online to get the commercial policy.. you have to call the commercial division and not the regular line..

its possible since yours is a van cutaway you could get regular coverage on it but since it has a collins bus body I believe you'll need commercial division.

Thanks for the reply!!
I’m currently insured with progressive and I talked to my agent. I’m currently waiting on a call back from them. My next step was to call progressive commercial.
I’m just wondering if anyone has had any luck with other agencies. The guy who owned it before me used it for tailgating and had it insured with grange. I’m going to call them also.

Call Brad Carpenter's State Farm office in Massilon, (330) 477-8529. I have a commercial auto for personal use policy through them, no problems since June 2021 (fingers still crossed).

My agent finally found Wayne insurance to cover it, but only as it is now. It can’t have running water unless professionally done. So at least I have enough to drive it around so I can work out all the bugs.
