I went online to progressive and the website says they don't insure school bus conversions.

In Utah, my agent said that on one would insure a bus conversion except GMAC. So I joined Good Sams for their discount and got collision for slightly over 300$ a year.

Progressive told me they would not insure my e350 period. Not as a bus, rv, or van, not even as a cab & chassis. I went to 6 different insurance companies and 3 would not touch it just due to its weight. 2 gave me outrageous quotes and wanted 6-12 months paid upfront. I finally just gave up and got plpd / liability insurance and I'm paying $236/month! What can I do to change that? I'm getting shafted!

I contacted a local progressive deale, they will insure a bus, commercial insurance, but not used as commercial...about 700 yr, so you might want to ask them about that

my State Farm agent called me back today, after being turned down the first time, and said, liability
for $ 106 a year
I about peed my pants, told her to put it on acct and bill me like the other 3 cars i have with them
