Insurance through Progressive!

Today I got full coverage insurance from a local small town agent that sells progressive insurance. $328 per year. My build is not done, I need to move it to replace the leaking fuel tank. I told the agent that it is worth $9-12k as is. I am to call him back when it’s finished and reassess the policy

it is different state to state, they likely wont cover it aftwer its been converted.. one of mny busses is covered through progressive and has been since I bought it in 2016, they ask me each year when I renew if my bus is still a bus.. (they didnt ask this for the first year or 2).. since its pretty much stock and still has all its seats, yes its a bus.. so they cover it without issue but sounds like they will not if it was converted

I have progressive, commercial for personal coverage. At renewal this year they asked me if the conversion was finished and if so they can quote Rv coverage through AIS commercial.

I’m guessing it is a branch for Progressive.

I have Progressive, two motorcycles, contents insurance, my car and my bus. They didn't want to renew the bus until I sent them a whole bunch of pictures. My bus was originally bought by a coach company and was never any type of school bus. They're really gun shy when it comes to school busses. I've heard of several people getting canceled. I have 50k comprehensive for $1200/yr..

That’s all I know about them.

Give them a call and don’t volunteer information. Let them ask you if it is a converted bus.

I wouldn't want to take the chance of a claim being denied because I wasn't honest about what was being insured. I'd rather pay a bit more or do the legwork required to best assure I was actually covered & not just paying a fee to maintain a false sense of security.

No one is suggesting dishonesty...what I was saying is only answer the questions asked and don't add another color to the answer!
Keep it black n white!

Kind of like when you talk to a cop on the street. It is usually the "extra" words one says that puts the noose around their neck!
