license in kentucky

Im gonna buy a yellow school bus and was wanting to know what i needed to do to it to be able to license it in ky. I know i gotta kind of convert it to a rv for insurance but didnt know if i had to paint it and whatever else. Any info will help. THANKS!!! Im just wanting to make a toy hauler out of it. Dont really need living quarters unless i have to. Thanks again..

Check w/ your DOT, or the local vehicle reg. office.. They should be able to tell you the requirements for your state........
