Potential registration problem?

In the next few months, I'll be buying a bus for conversion. I would be using the vehicle both for commercial and recreational purposes. Would that be a problem with registration? Essentially, I only want a small galley and two bedrooms. The rest of the vehicle would be used as a refridgerator with a Thermo King or such similar cargo refridgeration units. It would be used to transport produce to market.

Normally there are never any registration problems. Insurance is were most of the problems occur.

insurance

While it is true that you will get greif insuring your converted school bus, if you live in an area where vehicle insurance is required, you will be able to get it. you may have to call the state insurance people to find out where to go, but if it is a legal requirement then they have a legal obligation to make sure you can comply with the requirement.

I have GMAC insurance on my school bus conversion. They didn't bat an eye when I told them what was going on. I recommend them.
