My agent, who I have home, business, and vehicle insurance through got a standard policy with $40,000 hull value for $750/year.
The underwriter specified being 'professionally' built, so you'd need to be prepared to show some receipts from 'professionals' during your build. Our paint and cosmetics will be done in Guatemala, professionally, and when the internal build is done when we return I'll cross the bridge of a professional RV upfit.
