Trouble finding coverage in South Carolina for commercial used as private until RV co

Hi! Please forgive me because I know this topic has been touched on many times. Iíve read through some threads regarding this topic, but the info is outdated. We just purchased just a 2006 e450 14 passenger Thomas school bus and we are having the hardest time finding someone to insure it. They wonít cover it as a commercial bus because we arenít using it for commercial purposes. Thereís only one company I can find so far that will cover it as commercial being used as private. Nobody will touch it for a motorhome until itís converted, which is understandable. The only company that I have been able to find that will ensure it as commercial being used for personal use is State Farm and they want $200 a month for full coverage, $130 for liability. Can somebody please recommend somebody in South Carolina that will help us insure this as commercial used for personal use? Or does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks so much!

Coachwork: Busless for now
If the VIN is from the Ford incomplete chassis, You should be able to get coverage. I recently got a quote from Progressive to cover a Chevy van cutaway that I ended up not buying. It was only $191 per year for liability only. It may have gotten cancelled after a month or so but it would have gotten me home. This quote was as an RV with the Chevrolet VIN

Thank you. I tried them. They said they would not insure us. Said they no longer insure commercial for personal use and could not insure as a RV until it was ready. Thank you though!
