Vermont Registration, Now What?

So I've bought a bus (2005 Thomas HDX ER, 99k miles) and haven't picked it up yet. I'll be heading to Vermont in the next couple days to get it registered as a motorhome. Then I'll need to get insurance. Then go to NJ (from NY) to pick it up.

I'm wondering how to approach this and haven't seen it addressed yet. I'll be calling insurance companies with an MH title in my hand, but it hasn't been converted yet.

After I get it home I can get the basics done so the insurance companies may be satisfied.

What should I do in the meantime to get insurance to bring "Plan B" home?

You need a " commercial for personal use" policy.

Thanks! I was wondering if there might be something different once I had the title changed and I was thinking too much about it. I'm sleeping better now.

Because most regular insurance companies won't insure it when it's a bus, but will when 4 of the 6 criteria to make it an RV or MH have been completed, SOP is to get the CFPU policy to get it home and build it out and then pick up a policy from your own carrier or another.
