VT wouldn't touch until painted

I drove to VT yesterday to get an RV title for my school bus. I marked down the paint color of Yellow as I hadn't painted it yet.

The woman at the counter did a quick look, pushed all the papers back at me and said, I'm sorry we can no longer do anything with former school buses until they have been painted.

This of course sucks for me as it's winter in NY so painting will be difficult.

Do it by mail and say it's white (or whatever color you're going to paint it eventually). Worked for me.
