I don't care what color I have in the end and equipment paint is reputed are remarkably tough, often lasting 30 or 40 years. There is nothing saying you can't have that equipment paint tinted so it's not like advertising for a big corporation. I only want to paint this bus once, and I'm sure there will be touch-ups over the years. I've used either house paint or Rustoleum without hardener and they last about the same length of time. A good exterior high gloss paint holds up pretty well.

"farm implement paint" and rustoleum are the same thing. different labeling and colors.
Both are essentially the same oil based enamels.
Neither offer any uv protection unless you clear coat them. Although there are grades of Rustoleum that are uv resistant.
