if im not off on some adventure I will defintiely want to stop by at least for the day / evening.. since they have restrooms And I have a webasto now in case its cold. I could air-mattress over-night one night.. long rasnge weather calls for warmer and drier than normal for central FL in lsate january through mid feb.. so that bodes well for a nice rain-free campground!

I'll put the question up on facebook. However I believe no charge for just day visiters. As for pets they did have them last year, will ask about that too.

I'm so broke I couldn't afford the fuel to go the Trav's new years thing. Hopefully this event doesn't cost much or at all.

This is our annual get together for skoolies and those with the skoolie spirit. This is not a show for the general public to come and view our homes. There will be time for fellowship, getting to know eachother, eating together and general relaxation.
Practice your offgrid skills before the event. There will be plenty of space for those with solar and those with generators. Located in the Ocala National Forest. Cost per night per vehicle will be $15 per night payable at the event. Some volunteer positions available in exchange for some of the per night fees. email skoolieswarm@gmail.com with 2020 in the subject line to register or for more information about the event and volunteer needs. MAIN POTLUCK WILL BE SATURDAY NIGHT other chances for eating together will happen throughout the week. This is a great time to meet other like minded people, relax together and help eachother with small projects. There is a large fire ring for all of us to enjoy together just like the last 2 years. This is on a lake so bring you kayaks and paddleboards.

If it is in the national forest, who gets the dough? What does it go for? I don't pay to play on public grounds.

Despite being in a national forest, they do charge to rent the campground. That gives us exclusive access to it along with several facilities while we're there.

It is not unusual for agents to be licensed in multiple states.

My agent in AZ was licensed in AZ, NV and CA.

It wouldn't hurt to call and ask.

A number of us have had success getting "commercial for personal use" policy while we convert.

Day time visiting ok for skoolie owners. As has been said this is not a public show, but a gathering for skoolie owners

Doe lake charges a bit, yes. Its a nice place though. We almost had our wedding there.
ALL public areas like this charge in FL. Private contractors run them for profit. It sucks but it is what it is.
