I’m coming down from NJ. This will be my first Swarm. I’m looking forward to meeting people and seeing some awesome Skoolies.

is it not possible to drive a bus in and out of the swarm like I did 2 years ago? i rented a space and then drove my bus out for the night and came back the next morning.. will that be an issue at this year;s Swarm?

I don't think that would be an issue. If I can get some stuff done in time I may take my bus over.

From my understanding you are fine. I think keeping out the public is the main concern. The public should come to the Know how expo. You are one of us, and have very good advice, and well written. I for one hope to see you there.

Chris isn't just one of us- He's Lord of the Bus.
I'm hoping I can volunteer or something.

It is still up in the air for us. We still do not know if we will be in the area or not at that time.

I'm going to bring the shorty. Changing the oil, greasing the chassis, and maybe even swapping the rear tires. I also wana replace the rear u-joint. Gona call the freightliner shop today and see if they have it in stock and if so what they'd charge to install it.
Or maybe get the part and drive the bus over to trav's and use his press?
I also need to replace the rear suspension bushings. They creak like mad.
I'm mostly concerned with getting that u-joint done and the oil/lube.
I will have to figure out when I'm coming and how I'm going to watch the 3 games Celtic will be playing during the swarm.

I bet if you bring a tv and set it up in the dining hall you would have a number of people watching with you. Better make sure it is ok with Michelle though. Can you live stream through your phone?

I don't have a smartphone.
We either stream the games at home, watch on Celtic Tv at home, or go to the supporters pub.
I could maybe miss a game, but not all three.

Looks like we may be in the area during the Swarm. If so, we will try to make it out one day, perhaps Saturday.

So, I'm booked for the H.O.W., for sure. I think I'll drive down, visit the Swarm the first day and then either find a room in Ocala and come back for a bit on the second day, or start back. Hoping to get my vehicle and have it sufficiently habitable to attend the entire event next year. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone.

Do you have the seats out? Put a tent inside and you are camping!!! There are showing and bathrooms there.
