Anyone here in Wisconsin peninsula area?

So we are going to be in peninsula state park in WI and were wondering if anyone has a list of must see things near there. Or might want to meet up for a short visit. We will also be at Big Foot Lake for a couple of days on the way home.

I recommend visiting Whitefish Dunes State Park which has a gorgeous beach. It's only 30ish minutes from Peninsula. I visited both parks back in March and they were both well worth the visit. There is also a county park adjacent to Whitefish Dunes that is super cool as well.
