Burningman 2004

The man burns in 45 days!

I'm preparing the bus for a trip to Burningman http://www.burningman.com It's well over 2,000 miles one way from michigan to northern nevada.

Hopefully everything goes well. I'm going to become a member of the good sam club before i leave.

I'm taking nearly a month off of work. While i'm gone, i thought I would take a detour through the north and visit some of the sites along I 90.

As I plan on attending BM next year for the first time.

Hope he got back ok...the weather could have slowed him up.

I made it back. Covered 7,000 miles in about 24 days. It was a great adventure. The bus gave me lots of problems, but i never had to get it towed. After burningman, which is about 80 miles north of reno, i ended up in san fran, then LA, vegas and eventually came back to michigan. I met Steve the guy who built skoolie.net on my way through iowa. He was very gracious and let me stay a nite at his place.

You'll love burningman! This was my first year (2004) and it blew my socks off! There is more crazyness there than one can even immagine.

If you're looking for a theme camp to stay with, you'e welcome to stay with us. I stayed with the black rock burner hostel theme camp. Not too exciting as far as theme camps go, but there were a lot of people from other countries, and that's always fun. There's also shower, cooking, shade facilities provided by the theme camp.
