Finding an RV slot for skoolie in FL

Any tips or guides on loacations that accept skoolies, in or near Sebastian FL

Starting my build now, and going to live in it from December thru March in this area.

Any guidance would be awesome. Thanks

Charles

Camp, Ride & Build

Near is relative. Our Happy Place may be a candidate.

We have space where skoolies can camp with & build their rigs. 55mph to our driveway with easy access to highways, yet private.

We're on 20 acres of woods & pasture and offer full hook-ups or primitive sites. Includes dumpster access, picnic table, fire ring & unlimited firewood. Lockable storage is available. We also offer equestrian lodging, stalls & pasture. Pet friendly. Additional amenities coming soon.

We are north-west of Sebastian. We drove down to the Inlet a few times in January for the Florida Pro. About 140 miles, which was 2-1/2 hours of drive time, each way.

Edit/Answer:
No town or city gov't.

Place for an Skoolie

DeMac,
How much does your place charge for an Skoolie parking spot per month and per year?
1. With hook ups.
2. Without hook ups.
3. With electricity and Sewage connections.
4. Other amenities.
I appreciate your information.
Regards
Oscar

We're in Marion County, officially named the "Horse Capital of the World®", close to the World Equestrian Center, Southeastern Livestock Pavillion & Equine Fertility Facilities, so we primarily serve the livestock events, rodeo competitors, equestrian shows, etc.

Guests utilize our horse stalls, quarantine paddock, round pen, hot walker, wash pad, pasture grazing, riding trails, grooming & boarding services, etc...

Our most common request is for horses, but welcome travelers of all sort.

Stalls $200/mo ea., 4 of 8 vacant, includes water & electric, private paddock.

Pasture grazing only,
$150/mo ea. horse/donkey

10 acres of Pensacola Bahiagrass + 5 acres Wooded Trails.

----------------------

If you require only a skoolie parking spot, space for an unoccupied vehicle, $75/mo, annual payment preferred.

Owner occupied camping, between $10-$30/night. Wkly/Monthly rates are negotiable.

We have a variety of camp sites. Most have water, the electric outlets are 15A, 20A, 30A & 50A. Your rig's size & electrical consumption will affect the expense.

There is no "sewage" option here, however a dump station is located nearby.

Contact me via PM with your specific requirements &/or a text number. We can likely arrange custom accommodations for your needs.

Hello, DeMac.
We will be in the Ocala area for two to four weeks this spring & prefer to camp near my mare, Star. I sent you a private message, as well. I'm new to the forum.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Paddy

I saw photos in another thread & thought I'd post an update.

I stayed at Demac's all spring. Our original two to four weeks leisurely passed into six or seven weeks. There's a lot to see in Central Florida and our hosts were quite hospitable. Helpful. Good people.

We were particularly fond of the immediate area surrounding their property. The landscape is littered with horse farms and green rolling pastures. Yet, right smack in the middle of everywhere.

My wife & I prefer to dine out frequently, so we quickly discovered that Demac right on the edge of The Villages "Florida's Friendliest Home Town". More restaurants and entertainment than I could have imagined. We are planning to go back this fall.

Skoolies Welcome

Paddy
Hey!
There is a lot to do within minutes of Our Happy Place. The area surrounding our home has boomed over the last three decades. There are literally hundreds of eateries in The Villages, aka: Boomers Paradise.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. We really enjoyed having you here. Thank you for all you do. Star's favorite camp site is reserved for the winter.
-Miss you.

Christopher,
We are looking forward to seeing you. You won't need to run your genny, unless you really want to. We have five sites with power/water and 20 acres to wander. If you prefer standard accommodations, we also have a spare bedroom for family & friends. 😉

😃Christopher,
I sent our address & contact info to you via PM. Come camp with a horse or at least pet one.

If ANY bus converters need a place to park, live and build, please send me a PM. We can offer short term or long term parking/living arrangements. On-site storage available. We ain't trying to get rich.

Our Happy Place is easily accessible, just a few miles from I-75 and 301/441 on a corner lot lined in freshly paved asphalt. Smooth. Two entrances onto the 55mph Hwy and two entrances into the 45mph side road.

We are within a few minutes of shopping: two Walmarts, various grocery stores, two flea markets, restaurants & entertainment. Plus Camping World, The RV Supercenter, Home Depot and two Lowes are all within a few miles, if repairs are needed.

The VA hospital is damn near walking distance. We always offer Veterans discounts, steep for disabled vets, such as myself.

We've worked diligently to establish a space where we are free to live out our dreams without fear of retribution. Free. We hope to share Our Happy Place with like-minded individuals. Come be yourself. Do your thing.
