Happy Friday Skoolie-ers

My build thread is woefully unfinished & outdated (apparently I suck at blogging lol..) but here's a fun pic from a recent adventure out to Bear Creek Campground in the Mendocino National Forest. I highly recommend it if you're ever out that way. It's about 9 miles off road and about 6 miles in you have to cross the creek

I found it here at Map of Free Camping Areas | Go Camping for Free!

Enjoy!

That's no creek...that's a puddle.

(And this was through essentially a lake)

I got a chuckle out of Skoolie-ers.

Does that mean we're all Coolier Skooliers or Foolier Skooliers????

Sounds like fun, how bad was the washboard? That's what makes of road terrible for us

Lol well CA is in a drought so the creek was fairly low. It's hard to tell in the pic but it was actually about 2 feet deep. If it were too high they close the trail so I guess I'm glad about that

The majority of the trail was red clay so it was pretty smooth driving for the most part. Driving over the rocky creek bed was definitely a bit rattling though
